Dark Matter Studio is a software development studio in the Netherlands that creates games designed to promote overall health, encompassing mental and physical well-being. These games aim to enhance your interaction with technology, facilitate better sleep, encourage a reconsideration of your relationship with food, alleviate anxiety, and improve your overall well-being.
Built as games from the ground up, they offer immersive experiences that utilize the power of storytelling, exploration, and adventure, creating awesome experiences that are good for you.
My Story
Many times have I sat at a table with friends, chatting about the amazing experiences we’ve had in games. These stories moved us, the peculiarities made us laugh, but above all, they’ve become cherished memories. The challenges we overcame in Dark Souls, the funny moments we encountered while playing World of Warcraft together, the stories that inspired us from the Witcher or the pressure we felt when finishing a close-called Call of Duty match.
That’s why I created Dark Matter Studio: to evoke similar emotions through games aiding people in their journey towards better health.

Games that make you stronger, games that help you sleep better, games that help you spend less time mindlessly scrolling on your phone, games that help you focus to get the stuff done you want to get done, games that improve your flexibility and endurance, games that make you feel less stressed about challenges in life and so on.

Dark Matter is a Solo Dev studio, but who knows if that might change in the future! I have a background in Physics and Engineering, am a passionate gamer, BJJ trainee and rugby fan.
